Are you a beach or a snorkel person?
Maybe both?
This is the day trip for you!
...and you'll Need A Passport!
Snorkel one of best snorkel spots in The Caribbean. You can hit either The Indians or The Caves. Captain's call on this one, depending upon the weather, both are great options. This day trip takes you to Norman Island and Jost Van Dyke.
Norman Island - The Caves
The caves at Norman Island are unique, not only because of the visual experience but also the historical significance. The caves are naturally occurring and carved into the solid basalt rock face. Using an underwater flashlight can help to explore further and deeper! Also, they are believed to be the inspiration for the caves in Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.
The Indians
The Indians are an outcropping of rocks west of Norman Island. They project up into the air almost 50 feet. The East and West side of the Indians are very different in what you will see living there. You can read more about them on our BVI Snorkel & Explore day trip.
Jost Van Dyke
Imagine the most iconic soft white sand beach in the world. The clear water lapping up with the sound calming your body, relaxing internally and externally…Jost Van Dyke is on its own island time!
To get a real feel for the island, check out the Soggy Dollar webcam and make a plan to go to White Bay on Jost Van Dyke. As the most requested BVI day trip destination. White Bay is the ultimate dreamy beach you could imagine…but real! It’s the perfect place to slow down, spend an afternoon relaxing. If you’re hungry, explore the restaurants and bars within walking distance.
See our Jost Van Dyke Page for more info.
